I refuse to allow fear to stop me from doing what I know is right.

January of 2024 found us in preparing for Spring with the hope of getting back into the fight. I’m a threat analyst and artificial intelligence program manager with a focus on global supply chains supporting space and military intelligence missions. With the war in Gaza raging and the United States presidential primaries upcoming, the year was sure to be chaotic to say the least.

February was a continuation of wars in Ukraine and Gaza, Beyoncé tops the country music charts, and the world tries to pretend that humanity isn’t trying to kill themselves. March brings armed violence in Haiti and Burkina Faso, Putin “wins” another election, and MacKenzie Scott starts handing out millions to nonprofits. It also was the month that the British Royal family announced cancer diagnoses for King Charles and Princess Kate, and Diddy’s homes were raided by the feds.

By the time we got to April, it seemed like half the world was fighting over land, the other was fighting for their health, and it all came back to the trafficking of human slaves. This is where our paths diverged with a movement for change. I began working with We Act Radio in Anacostia. If I had any clue what the next eight months would entail, I don’t think I would do anything differently. Working with We Act Radio ultimately was the catalyst that got me fired, but when you get fired for doing the right thing – it is always worth it.

What are we doing with We Act Radio?

We Act Radio is an independent, progressive media network doing everything they can to share the voice of Anacostians with the world. The passion, culture, and community hidden in Southeastern DC has stolen my heart. The neglect and reputation it has received has allowed the community’s culture to grow without the gentrification of other areas; however, I feel like it is only a matter of time, stalled only by its location on the other side of the river.

In July of this past year, a threat was issued by the individual posed to be inaugurated. They promised a complete take over of DC in order to “clean it up.” When politicians begin talking about a clean up, they rarely mean doing the work required to create a safe and thriving home for the residents. This is why, now more than ever, we look to the heart of DC and plan to assist in building critical infrastructure and provide training to the community.

Coming in January

January 2nd we will launch the Space/Military Intelligence Learning Experience (S/MILE). This personalized training with assist individuals in learning how to operate in a world that is over run with technology with the goal of finding a balance between the magic of nature and the magic of science.

This past month at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) a pair of brothers prove what we’ve known all along: magic is in the air. When the LHC produces top quarks (this is all quantum level science – meaning at the atom level), it will regularly create a property known as magic.

I have spent the past five years hyper-focused on gaining a better understanding of technology, the supply chain, and the ethics behind how societies grow. Sadly the world still cannot get through a day without trying to kill each other over these resources. Billionaires in the technology industry have only exasperated the issue by leaning into an idea that they are G-d, but the truth is they have no idea what they are dealing with.

S/MILE will focus on teaching sustainable globalization, local community organization, and ethical social engineering practices to assist in building a future where all people can thrive. The link below will allow you to register for access to our community application: Storyteller Energy.
